Students will be introduced to structures like Metric space, Vector spaces, Normed spaces, Inner product spaces, with examples mainly drawn from Signal & Image processing. The idea is to make the students comfortable with a language derived from the above mentioned structures. With these tools, the students will be able to see isomorphic concepts/structures in many different applications.
